Cat Raincock - My Breath Work Coach

Cat Raincock is my breathwork coach. Breathwork I hear you say... You need a coach to help you breathe properly???

Ah yes, I was exactly the same - but wow once you understand how and why it works the benefits are endless.

The things that it impacted most for me were:

  • My sleep
  • My energy
  • My focus
  • My ongoing headaches

And when I found out it’s practically impossible for disease to live in an alkalised body I had to give it a go.

I will let Cat tell you more...

Benefits Of Breathwork

There are a whole host of benefits for breathing, not least because it energises your body and floods your body with oxygen leading to an alkalised body and disease wants acid not a fabulously alkalised body.

Here is a list of benefits:

  • Reduces inflammation
  • Calms mind and body
  • Releases emotions and stuck energy
  • Reconnects mind & body
  • Improves immunity
  • Increases lung capacity
  • Improves cardiovascular system
  • Improves metabolism
  • Improves focus
  • Reduces anxiety
  • Improves sleep
  • Balances hormones
  • Calms nervous system

How to do Breathwork

Quite simply; sit or lie down. Then repeatedly take big breaths (either through your nose or for a deeper, bigger breath, your mouth) focusing and breathing into your stomach, expanding your chest and visualising sending the in breath up to your head. Do this over and over.

There are different types of breath work both of the types that I trained in are all about cyclical breath, back to back, no pause. Sometimes I do 30 big breaths and then I hold the breath for as long as I can (each time it’s longer) and I do this 3 times. This is a very energising practice before your day begins.

Other times I do a longer session of 40-50 breaths, 5 or 6 times. This would be a much deeper and cathartic way to access stuck emotions or heal physical ailments or diseases.

Essentially you are oxygenating your whole body and as most of us don’t breathe properly in a sedentary state, our body’s resting state is starved of oxygen. By flooding your system, through controlled hyperventilation, with oxygen, you in turn alkalise your whole body. Note: No cancer can live in an alkaline body.

I hold weekly Breathwork sessions to start your day energised and focused on Zoom for half an hour.

I also hold monthly Big Release sessions.

This is an opportunity to detox yourself once a month emotionally and physically.

All sessions involve the use of carefully orchestrated music to either energise or release.

COME ALONG AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.

I guarantee you a profound experience.
